This year we are offering the following PhD projects:

The temperature control on the strength of the biological pump as revealed by palaeo-pH depth profiles

How does the silicate weathering feedback work? Insights from super-high precision 87Sr/86Sr measurements in past greenhouse climates

Climate feedbacks and Earth's habitability

What controls the pH of the microenvironments around foraminifera and what does this mean for records of past ocean chemistry

A multidisciplinary investigation into how the port of Southampton contributes to air pollution in the city

These projects are fully funded but appointment will be through a competitive process.  Deadline for applications is 4th Jan and see here for details on how to apply
