Fully Funded PhD's

October 02, 2015/ gavin foster

Want to do a PhD with us? We have a number of projects this year to chose from:

Dust and the causes of glacial-interglacial CO2 change

The role of CO2 in the intensification of Northern Hemisphere Glaciation

Reconstructing historic sea surface temperature using corals from Belize

Impact of Ocean Acidification on skeletal strength of corals and coralline algae

Mapping and geochemistry of deep sea-coral from the Mediterranean

Climate sensitivity to greenhouse gas forcing using a new model

Boron isotopes tracing igneous processes during collisional tectonics

Reconstructing the change in ocean circulation across the last great climate transition (the intensification of northern hemisphere glaciation)

All the projects will be based at Southampton and see the GSNOCS website for more details.  Contact Gavin if you need more information
